What kind of luggage is a good buy and how much it cost? I'm in Dubai nowadays and I want to buy a luggage that does not break easily since most of the airports luggage staff are just throwing recklessly the luggages. I'm thinking of having a vibrant color (Benetton is a choice) and of course with good quality. Please mention the costs also. Thank you!
How do I travel with Louis Vuitton luggage on a plane? I have alot of LV luggage and none of it classifies as carry on so it would have to go in the luggage compartment. But first off, I want to make sure that it is handled with care and secondly I want to make sure that no one but myself has access to it because I wouldn't want someone to leave the airport with my luggage. I've never traveled with designer luggage before. Anyone?
What are the chances of my luggage getting lost at London Heathrow T5? I'm flying internationally to Paris in June, connecting via London Heathrow. I've heard all about the luggage fiasco there and sadly, I have to move from T4 to T5 to catch my connecting flight to Paris. Would the situation be better by June? What are the chances of my luggage getting lost and how long would it take to recover lost luggage? It's my 1st time flying long-haul on my own. Thanks!
Does checked-in luggage normally travel on the same plane as the passanger? I recently flew to Europe and had a connection in Amsterdam. The first plane was late and I had to literally run to the next gate to make my connection. I did make it, but was sure that they did not have enough time to transfer my luggage. To my great surprise, my luggage arrived at the final destination together with me! How did they do it, is there a highly efficient luggage transfer system in airports? Is it possible that my checked-in luggage traveled by a different route?
What are the chances of my luggage going missing? I'm going on my first plane trip & bought really cute purple luggage & packed all new clothes I bought just for the trip. I'm really worried about my luggage going missing though! does this happn a lot?

How early can you check your luggage at the airport? I am leaving from San Diego at 3:30PM but check out of my hotel by 11AM. Since I don't have a car, I was thinking about dropping my luggage off at the airport at 8AM and then going sightseeing till 2PM. Will the airport accept my luggage that early?
What is the Best High End Luggage and Why? OK, business travelers, I travel too much to buy cheap luggage. Yet, the thought of subjecting an investment to America's baggage handlers is distressing. I often have to check my bag and need a GREAT garment bag that carries three to five suits and shirts. I want your opinion on the BEST, MOST DURABLE luggage.
Question about liquids and aerosols in checked luggage? I haven't traveled via air since the new liquid restrictions (3oz or less) for carry ons went into effect. I am planning to put all my toiletries (shampoo etc) into my checked luggage. Does anyone know if there are any restrictions on putting aerosol hairspray into my checked luggage? Also, any tips on putting liquids into my bag without it oozing all over the place? I am going to put it all in ziploc bags, but it would be great if there was a way to keep it in the bottles. Let me add some detail, since I guess I didn't make it clear enough. I am going to put ALL my toiletries(shampoo, bodywash, makeup, etc) into my checked luggage, not my carryon. Are there restrictions on the amount of each bottle even in my checked luggage? And an aerolsol spray is also ok?
How does the luggage work for easyjet airlines?? Hi, I'm thinking of going to greece from london with easyjet. How does the luggage work? It says on their site that they have "europe’s most generous hand baggage allowance", does that mean they dont allow luggage on the airplane and that you have to carry everything in a handbag?? Thank you

Can you bring a computer tower in your carry on luggage? I need to bring my keyboard, mouse and cpu tower back to Denver with me from Detroit. How do I stop my toiletries from spilling in my luggage? Every time I travel, I open my luggage to find that my shampoos, conditioners, hair serums, suntan lotion, etc have spilled out into my luggage. I do pack all this stuff in separate bags, but I can't avoid them spilling anyway. It's not so much the cleaning up, but the fact that I lose half my shampoo in the process and have to rebuy everything that spills once I get there. Any tips for stopping this problem?

How do I get back luggage confiscated at the airport security checkpoint? Last Thursday at Gatwick airport my mother-in-law had a bottle of expensive champagne confiscated from her at the security checkpoint as there can be no liquids taken through the checkpoint according to the current security regulations, after British Airways failed to inform her at check-in that any liquids, etc must be stored in your hold luggage and not in your hand luggage. Any ideas of how I can get this item returned to me?
Is the luggage/cargo compartment pressurized on ALL planes or just commericial passenger airplanes? I had some old wine shipped by air, and they arrived with corks sticking out on several different occasions. Sometimes, there would also be a small amount of wine which seeped out of the bottle. I have inspected the corks and they are not rotten or faulty. I believe this is the result of the pressure inside the bottle being substantially higher than the pressure outside, and this pressure forces the cork out along with some wine (if the package was on its side). Once the bottles are on the ground (where the pressure inside the bottle is the same as the outside) the wine no longer seeps out, even if I violently shake the bottle. But in movies (like "Transformer" and "Air Force One") we see people walking around the luggage compartment of commerical passenger planes, implying that they are pressurized like the cabin. My wine seeps and exhibits a protruding cork ONLY when shipped by air. I've never had this problem with bottles with Ground shipping. Thanks for everyone's help!
What can you check into your luggage on an international flight? Okay, so listen to this. In 2008, I'm going on a flight to Europe, which will consist of flying into Paris... traveling for a while, then flying out from Milan. I was just wondering because I'm going to be with a large tour group if instead of having to buy alcohol there if i could just check it in my luggage and fly it over with me. Is checking alcohol in your luggage illegal?
