can I bring my camera and 2 camera batteries in the hand-carry luggage?

My camera is sony dsc t7. I have 2 spare batteries which I plan to take them along with me. Is it OK with the safety precautions? I am planning them to put it in my bag which I will take as hand-carry luggage. I will travel with Thai Airways. I will travel from Hong Kong to Chaing Mai via Bangkok transit.

2. where are you travelling from and to where? contact your airport/airlines to be absolutely certain.
3. yes they are suppose to allow y0u to carry that.. wen we went they let us!
4. Yes, you can, but remember that now you cannot travel with anything liquid, areosol, lotions, or even toothpaste in your carry-on. They will have to travel in your checked baggage. Have a good flight.
